Today, many technique names have been derived. The main two techniques are FUT and FUE. Each technique has its own pros and cons. The person to undergo hair transplantation should have healthy hair on the back and sides of the head to be used as a donor area. Other factors such as hair color, degree of hardness, wavy and bushy hair also affect the result of the procedure.

Which method will be preferred is decided by the doctor who will perform the procedure, taking into account the priorities of the person after a detailed examination. Although the FUE method, which does not leave a scar in the form of a line, is mostly preferred, in some cases the FUT method may also need to be applied. Hair transplantation can be applied not only for baldness but also to increase hair density in thinning areas.

Performing hair transplantation with the right technique significantly affects the success rate. For a long-lasting and accurate hair appearance, you should prefer an experienced doctor and a clinic rich in equipment.

Hair transplantation can be performed with two different methods. One is FUE, follicular unit extraction and the other method is FUT, follicular unit transplantation. The most important difference between these two methods, which can be determined according to the patient's hair quality, is that in the FUE method, the follicles are taken one by one with the help of a motor, while in the FUT method, all the follicles of good or poor quality are taken with a piece taken as a strip from the donor area. In the FUT method, a thin scar in the form of a line remains as a result of the piece taken from the neck. But in the FUE method, there is no scar in this way, the formation of an image that will not be visible to the naked eye in the form of a point is prevented. Therefore, the FUT method used in the early 90s has been replaced by the FUE method.
